The exhibition Bacchus, the masks of the god arrives at MAC-Empúries

The exhibition, which opened on March 21st and has been at the Museum of Badalona until June 9th, discovers the figure, history and attributes of this unique and polyhedral god and includes fifty objects, many of them with an exceptional quality, from both the Badalona Museum itself and from other museums throughout Catalonia.

The opening ceremony will take place at Museum of Archeology of Catalonia in Empúries next Saturday, June 15th, at noon. In ocassion of the opening of the exhibition, which has been produced, designed and curated from the Museum of Badalona, the catalogue of the exhibition will be presented. It will be also available at the Museum of Badalona’s store.

Bacchus, the masks of the god will stay in Empúries until September 15th, and it will be open from Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 1:30 pm and from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
