Publication of the book Before the memory disappear

Josep M. Padrós i Cuyàs, director of the Museum of Badalona between the years 1971 and 1975, has recently published the book Before the memory disappear, a work that gathers his memories and experiences over more than seventy years of dedication to heritage and archeology, both in Badalona and Tiana.

Padrós recovers, among many other experiences, the first news of archaeological finds in our city and its surroundings, and the different attempts that had existed since 1886 to group and exhibit the recovered funds.

The book, which has been a limited edition of 50 copies, is not for sale, but it can be consulted in all the libraries of Badalona and Tiana, and those specialized in Barcelona. It has also joined the Museum’s library.
