New 3D scanning project of the Museum’s archaeological collections
Thanks to the agreement signed between the Museum of Badalona and the University of Barcelona, Diana Carolina Castro, a student of the Master’s in Digital Humanities at this university, is carrying out the 3D scanning of 12 archaeological pieces from the Museum’s bronze, bone and ceramic collections.
For a few months, Castro will work in the laboratory of our institution, to develop these new digital models that will be integrated into the collection of pieces on our sketchfab profile, where you can already see and download such emblematic jewels of our heritage as Venus, the herma of the god Bacchus or the gladiator’s oil lamp:
