The XIX MAGNA CELEBRATIO, the Roman festival of Badalona, is here.
This year’s edition will open on Friday with the lecture Ceramic crafts and their productions in Antiquity. Some examples from the north-east of Tarraconense that will be offered by Joaquim Tremoleda Trilla, Doctor in Archeology, archaeologist-conservator of the MAC-Empúries
and full member of the Institut d’Estudis Catalans.
The activities will continue during the weekend around the Museum with historical recreations, workshops for the young ones, exhibitions and shows that evoke the Roman past of our city.
You can also visit the different archaeological sites – musealized or not – from the Roman era that are preserved and that constitute the best testimony of the importance of the ancient city of Baetulo (Badalona).
