Clothing in Roman times, as in our society, went beyond the need to cover the body and became an identification of the social status of the wearer, through aspects as diverse as the type of fabric, fiber or color.
This code hidden between the folds of the fabric will be discovered in this small exhibition that highlights the small fragments of archaeological objects from the ancient Baetulo that we keep in the Museum. History clippings that, despite their size, provide valuable insights into such an everyday look as ancient Roman clothing.
