The book, the result of intense research carried out by the historian Emili Muñoz, includes the biography of Joan Soler i Amigó (Badalona 1941-Badalona 2022), pedagogue, writer and prominent scholar of popular culture, who to play an important role in the political and associative life of our city.

The presentation event will be led by Ícar Lite, journalist and grandson of the biographer, and will be attended by the author and several people who knew Joan Soler and who will talk about different aspects of his personal and professional career: Jaume Arnella, singer and folklorist, childhood friend; Roser Pubill, editor of the Tradicionari encyclopedia; Jaume Solà, friend since childhood, and Isabel Canillas, his partner (they married in 1969) and mother of his children.
