Presentation of the publication The neighborhood movement in the Barcelonès Nord (1954-1987) by José Miguel Cuesta Gómez, within the framework of the exhibition dedicated to the Transition that can be seen at the Museum from November 21st to February 16th.
The book is the result of careful research that collects and analyzes the neighborhood movement in the towns of Badalona, Sant Adrià de Besòs and Santa Coloma de Gramenet. To do so, the author consulted several written sources and conducted more than forty interviews, which provide unpayable testimony to the last years of the Franco regime, the time of the Transition and the first years of the democratic city council. The study of this exciting time in our recent history also helps us to understand the current reality of these three cities of Barcelonès Nord.
