Lecture: Documentation, extraction and restoration of the mosaics of the domus on the side of the C-31.

During the excavations on the side of the highway C31 (2016-2017), two domus of the upper part of the city were documented: the domus of the larari and the one of the balnea. In both houses, the mosaics of the rooms that gave them their name stood out. Due to their exceptionality, they were extracted before covering the remains and now, once restored, we will see the result, and we will know the process that has allowed their integration in the exhibition “Baetulo Roman city”.
