The jar of the ships

The jar of the ships
3rd century BCIberian ceramic jar with incisive decoration. Two Greek ships are seen, one arriving and the other moving away from the coast. The water is represented with broken lines and at the bottom the coastline is drawn, with the schematic image of the mountains. This decoration is one of the few marine scenes provided by Catalan archeology. Found in the Iberian settlement of Turó d’en Boscà.
