It is a legal document attesting to the hospitality pact celebrated on 8th of June 98 AD between the baetulonenses (Badalonins) and Quintus Licinius Silvanus Granianus. At the top there is an articulated handle that should be used to carry it. The piece has four holes, one at each angle, in order to place some keys. Certainly, it had to be hung on the wall of a public building.
