Sant Sebastià
Anterior a 1848de P. Prat
Oval piece with a frame of iron, inside which there is a scene, cut in iron ductile metal. It is Saint Sebastian, who appears tied to a tree trunk, with several arrows stuck to the body. In his feet, there is a layer and the old soldier helmet that belonged to him. This piece was part of the fence that enclosed a baroque altar of the church of Santa Maria de Badalona, dedicated to St. Sebastian, co-patron of the city. Surely someone recovered it and hide it during the Civil War and, years later, gave it to the museum where it is since it opened in 1966.
