In May of 2016, Ramon Prat Gelpi gave the Museum of Badalona seven albums with photographs related to Badalona. Those photographs were made by his father, also named Ramon, an amateur photographer and member of the Agrupació Excursionista de Badalona.
Most are made before the Civil War and are another look over the city that joins the important photographic collection preserved in the Archive of Images of the Museum.
Ramon Prat’s albums have a great virtue that can only be grateful to the author. Almost all photographs have the date that they were made, and when it comes to people, often we found the names written down.
A sample of this fund is the gallery that we present in this case, though many of the pictures in this case are not of Badalona.
