The book, published in the sixtieth anniversary of the execution in the Camp de la Bota of the mayor of Badalona during the Civil War, reproduces in its entirety the documentation of the war council to which Frederic Xifré was subjected in 1939. The book includes an introduction by Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Barcelona, and specialist in the investigation into the Civil War, Joan Villarroya.
