Francesc Josa Queralt (Badalona 1914-2008) was a photographer about whom very little is said and who, moreover, has little preserved work.

For years he had a photography shop in Prim’s street in Badalona.
He was one of the founders of the Photographic Section of the Municipal Museum of Badalona, a section founded in 1965 that for many years organized photography competitions and exhibitions and also debate meetings.

When the Museum contacted him in 1993 to see if he kept material from his professional activity, he himself admitted that he had thrown it all away when he closed the business. However, he donated the little material he had to the Museum.

It is certainly a shame the loss of the background of this photographer who, as can be seen in this album, had a very personal and particular way of working.

The photographs, all in black and white, were taken in the 1980s.
