Enric Giralt Paulí (Badalona 1945-2012) was an outstanding journalist. His professional life was linked, first, to the written press and, later, to television, in the Catalan delegation of Televisión Española. Politically engaged from a very young age, he was a member of the Partit dels Socialistes de Catalunya (PSC-PSOE).

The exhibition is based on the collection of photographs taken by Enric Giralt, which his family has given to the Museum of Badalona, and is also a tribute to his figure. The exhibition is structured in six areas, which review the essential themes and facts of Catalan society at the end of the seventies and early eighties of the twentieth century. More specifically, the photographs portray the city of Badalona during the short but intense period of the Political Transition and reflect the concerns of a population that wants to take the reins to decide its future.
