An illustrated publication that brings the reader closer to this interesting element of the Badalonian heritage as are the courtyards or badius. The author of the book, Montserrat Rectoret, takes a look at the history and at the word badiu, a term that Pompeu Fabra picked up in the General Dictionary of the Catalan Language, published in 1932, and which is used in Badalona to designate the courtyard of the house of cós. The book shows around seventy badius of Badalona.
