Autumn forest
First half of the twentieth centuryde Antoni Ros i Güell (Barcelona, 1877-Badalona, 1954)
Typical landscape of the artist, author of many paintings that are shady and melancholic like this. The work comes from the daughter of the painter, Águeda Ros Sarsal. Its properties passed to the Generalitat of Catalonia due to intestado inheritance and a portion was deposited in the Museum of Badalona so that it was exhibited in the farmhouse of Can Miravitges (of municipal property) that, previously, had been property and residence of the Ros Güell family.
