Religion has a fundamental importance for the Romans but many of their beliefs were based on magic and superstition better than in a religious doctrine. Did you know, for exemple, that the walls of the city were used to protect the people against enemies, but also against the spirits? Did you know that god Mercury protected the crossroads? Or that the cockcrow if it was not at dawn, bring bad luck? We will discover a large number of superstitions and beliefs that enjoyed great popularity in the Roman period.
The materials and objects you see and touch will help us uncover these and other questions. In addition, we will recreate the magic spell of the founding of the House of the Dolphins.
