The Museum presents the exhibition Winters in Badalona, which in the same vein as Summers in Badalona, which could be seen in 2022, shows what life was like in the city at that time of year.

It is a collection of old photographs from the Museum’s Image Archive which, without pretending to be the history or the chronicle of a certain period, reviews everyday life and shows aspects of the city and its people during the winter months of different years.

The photographs that can be seen there, by several authors, will have been taken between December 21st and March 20th, and will show aspects that are or have been characteristic of this winter season. Thus, we will find images of Christmas and Kings, Palm Sunday, some from the Holy Week, meteorological phenomena – such as rain and snow – but also of the streets or the beach, as well as some singular events that we consider noteworthy .

With this exhibition we want to wish you a merry Christmas and invite you to take a walk through the winters of our past.
