Lecture: Studying death: what does the forensic anthropology tell us about the tomb of Jaume Ramon Vila? By the archaeologist and PhD in Biological Anthropology, Núria Armentano.

The lecture will allow us to learn about the process of excavating the tomb of Jaume Ramon Vila, located in the monastery of Sant Jeroni de la Murtra. Jaume Ramon Vila was a 17th-century priest who devoted himself to the study of medieval Catalan heraldry and who had a strong connection with this Badalonian monastery.

In addition, Dr. Armentano will discover the foundations of forensic anthropology based on other cases in which she has intervened as a professional.

This conference is part of the cycle Working with history. Another look at the medieval period jointly organized by the Festa Medieval Sant Jordi Cultural Association and the Museum of Badalona.

Free entry until capacity is reached.
