The life of a Roman citizen was marked by ritual acts. From his birth until his death it was a continuous evolution of public and private acts that integrated him within the civitas, in the city.
On many occasions, the intervention of witnesses who gave social force to these acts was necessary. For reasons of space, we cannot offer the rituals as they were done at the time, with a large number of customers and friends of the lord of the house acting as witnesses. That is why you will become our witnesses.
We will offer four rituals related to the life of children from the time they are accepted in their father’s house until they leave it to become adults.
