The Iberian society

Saturday April 30th: noon.

30 April 2022 - 12:00 a 13:00

Free admission until full capacity.

In the Iberian world, different social classes were developed. There was a nobility that controlled trade, politics, and agricultural production, and established ties of friendship with other Mediterranean cultures, serving as a bridge to the arrival of new fashions and products. But this privileged elite would not have existed without a peasant class, responsible for producing the agricultural and livestock surpluses needed to trade with other peoples.

With this recreation, we bring to the audience the great differences that existed in the daily life of both classes, showing a day in the life of two families, that of the noble Ultilatie and that of the peasant Ortinbe.
