The Anís del Mono factory is one of the oldest ones that works in Badalona, ​​and its product is one of the best known and appreciated in the world. The famous label that identifies it has the date of 1870 written – although probably production began earlier – and, therefore, 2020 will celebrate the 150th anniversary.

For this reason, the Museum presents a small exhibition that highlights the image of Anís del Mono, the first that was packed in a diamond-shaped bottle, which many other brands would imitate soon. You can also see the relationship with the Modernism, and discover other beverages that were made at the Badalona factory.

During the inauguration ceremony, the book Anís del Mono desde 1870 will be presented, a work edited by Osborne, SA, widely illustrated with original photographs by Antonio Guillén, who reviews the history of the brand, explains the method of obtaining the anise and the importance of this factory of Badalona, leader in its sector.
