Film-Història award ceremony to Núria Casals

On Tuesday 10th of December, at 8 pm, the Film-History Award ceremony will be held at the Filmoteca de Catalunya (pl. Salvador Seguí, 1-9, Barcelona) for the best research of the year 2019, which has distinguished the historian of Badalona Núria Casals, for her rigorous and careful research on Badalona cinemas, The Great Illusion. The cinema in Badalona from 1898 to 1975, published by the Museum.

The award, which has more than 25 years of history, is granted by the Film History Center of the University of Barcelona, ​​currently directed by Magí Crusells, and has distinguished personalities such as Román Gubern, Esteve Riambau, Miquel Porter- Moix, Agustí Sánchez Vidal, Àngel Comas, Jean Mitry, Marc Ferro and Marcel Oms.

During the ceremony, the film High Noon (1952), by Fred Zinnemann, with Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly, will be screened. If you are interested in attending the event, you can contact the Museum by email (info@museudebadalona.cat) from Monday 25th November to Sunday 8th December, indicating your name and the ID number. The ticket will also be confirmed by email. No reservation will be considered valid without the presentation of the corresponding confirmation, at the entrance of the Filmoteca on the 10th.
