Enric Giralt Paulí (Badalona 1945-2012) was an outstanding journalist. His professional life was linked, first, to the written press and, later, on television, to the delegation in Catalonia of Televisión Española. Politically committed from a very young age, he was a member of the Party of Socialists of Catalonia (PSC-PSOE).
The exhibition is inspired by the collection of photographs by Enric Giralt, which his family has given to the Museum of Badalona, and is also a tribute to his figure. The exhibition is structured in six areas, which revise the themes and essential facts of Catalan society in the late seventies and early eighties of the twentieth century. More specifically, the photographs portray the city of Badalona during the short but intense period of the Political Transition and reflect the concerns of a population that wants to take their reins to decide their future.
