By Josep Maria Padrós, Director between 1951 and 1954 of the excavation campaigns in the Roman villa of Can Sentromà (Tiana), during the years 1953 and 1954 was part of the team that excavated in Badalona and found the Roman Baths and directed the Museum of Badalona between the years 1971 and 1975.

Author of several publications such as How was born Tiana 2000 years ago (1961), awarded with the Jocs Florals prize, or more recently The unknown Tiana. Treasures of the Montalegre’s valley (2006).

In 1970, he made and presented at the Town Hall of Badalona the first catalog of the monumental heritage of our city.

Throughout his professional life, Padrós has also published several research projects, both in history and archeology, in local publications and in the Bulletin of the Royal Catalan Academy of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi, of which is part of, since March 21st of 1973.

The lecture will take place in the space Roman baths and Decumanus.
