150 years of Anís del Mono

The Anís del Mono factory is one of the oldest ones that works in Badalona, and its product is one of the best known and appreciated in the world. The famous label that identifies this drink has the date of 1870 and, therefore, will celebrate the 150th anniversary in 2020, although production was probably started before this time. For this reason, the Museum prepares for the end of the year, a small exhibition that highlights the image of the brand. This factory was the first to pack the anise in a diamondshape bottle, a very successful initiative that, quickly, would be imitated by many other manufacturers.
